Chris Brown recently dropped $100k for 2 ruby and diamond necklaces for his "friend" Rihanna. About the gift the jewelry designer stated “He went for the heart theme,” Arasheben explained. “He said, ‘She’s going to love this because she loves hearts.’”

Rihanna also returned the favor by purchasing a blinged out cross pendant for her beau and gave specific instructions for the pendant stating that she wanted it to match the rest of his jewelry.

This is too cute... buying jewelery for your boo because it's Thursday!

Rihanna & Chris In The Studio

Rihanna & Chris Brown were recently in the studio together and reports are saying that the two plan to do another duet together.

R&B star Rihanna is planning a duet with her singer boyfriend Chris Brown. The pair has been dating since earlier this year - a romance they have yet to discuss in public, despite being spotted vacationing together and kissing and cuddling in a Miami, Florida fast food restaurant earlier this month (May 2008).
Now friends say the R&B duo are planning to record a track together - with some help from 20-year-old Rihanna's mentor Jay-Z.
A source tells Star! magazine, "Rihanna is impressed with Chris' voice. It was a natural step for her to say, 'Let's do a duet.' "She's asking Jay-Z to look around for a beat for the two of them, something sexy and snazzy."

Can't wait to hear how this one is going to come about, but being that both of their sounds are so predictable I can just about imagine.

Rihanna Makes History

My girl Rihanna done went and made Pop-chart history again. Check out the report from Billboard:

The song's bump is the second-best leap to No. 1 in Hot 100 history, trailing only Maroon 5's 64-1 jump with "Makes Me Wonder" last May. Coincidentally, Rihanna is featured on the band's "If I Never See Your Face Again" which will debut tomorrow at No. 57. With the lofty digital take, Rihanna now owns two of the top three opening week download tallies in chart history. Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" set the mark with 286,000 last month, surpassing the 277,000 moved by Rihanna's "Umbrella" when it debuted in the June 9, 2007 issue. "Take a Bow" is one of four new songs on an expanded CD/DVD edition of Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" album, due June 17 via Def Jam.

I didn't know the re-release was going to include a DVD, I'll go get it then! I wasn't going to get the re-release since I already have Good Girl Gone Bad and re-releases to me is just a reminder of the artists relativity in the music industry while they take a break from the studio. I only cop re-releases with a DVD... the same ish with only 4 new tracks is just not worth another $15
