Jill Scott and Her New Bra's

Jill Scott recently launched her own collection of bra's with Ashley Stewart called "Butterfly". About the new bra collection she says:

Sometimes I wore two bras at once, one for lift and one for shape. I’ve had custom bras made in London, France and sometimes the support was right but the style was wrong.” The bra was designed to tackle issues common to very ample women: bad underwiring, lack of coverage in the front and straps digging in too deep into the shoulders. With this in mind they filled the under support with gel! Fantastic concept.

At least someone consulted this issue. I am not a big girl but I know A LOT of them and they have these issues that this bra addresses. I'll be sure to get the word out

Beyonce a Desperate Housewife?

Beyonce is set to join the MILF's of Wisteria Lane but, of course, Papa Knowles is keen on making her role more than a cameo.

They’ve already agreed to give Beyoncé a cameo appearance,” said a source from the singer’s camp. “But we’re hoping that she could be written in for a recurring role, or possibly even a permanent one.”

I would love to see Beyonce on my favorite night time soap but what kind of Desperate Housewife would she be? I just hope she's not the woman who's singing career got side tracked by having a child too early and now she uses every chance she gets to perfrom and sing, because damn it I would be mad!

So the fabulous Simmons sisters, Angela & Vanessa have expanded their empire and entered into clothing (just like they said they would in Run's House). In Run's House the girls made it clear that they would go into fashion but it was made to seem like they were going to go solely into sports wear but the fashionable sisters have went into a full line of t-shirts, dresses, pants, shorts, etc. They also have a line of bags and Uggs called Marshmallows. So far their Pastry empire has grossed over $15 million dollars in sales to date and counting. Being that they get a very hefty percentage of that cash, they no longer need Daddy's money. Hey, can't knock the hustle...

I wonder what Aoki & Ming's gonna be up to when they reach Vanessa & Angela's age.... perhaps take over the world, one sparkly object at a time?

Okay first it was Dancing With The Stars, then she's working on a solo album, then she ventured into fashion working on her own clothing line and now her and Joey Fatone will be teaming up to host a new reality show called The Singing Office which is supposed to be a playful singing competition that puts groups of employees against each other. The former spice girl says about the show "It's not a serious competition. It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their co-workers."

Her recent gig on How I Met Your Mother got her good reviews and got the show it's highest rating ever, with hopes of the pop tart getting better. So it looks like Ms. American-Dream-Since-I-Was-17 have hooked up with Ed Hardy to produce a clothing line, the Ed Hardy representative told People that she wants to work on a children's clothing line with Christian Aduigier... I can't wait to see little Shiloh Pitt and Suri Cruise in torn fishnets at the playground

So in a recent interview with extra the Bajan beauty Rihanna stated that she would love to own a clothing line- as she puts it, it is on her agenda- "I want it to be really cutting edge and different, but I'm taking my time with it. I want to be really hands on" But until then her favorite designer and the one that seems to be on her back alot lately is Stella McCartney.... she is also going to be getting into a acting career but she is also taking her time with that and choosing roles carefully, I guess she doesn't want to be like Beyonce after all

Jay-Z's Made Bank... again

One of the richest men in rap is about to get richer, here's how Associated Press is reporting it:
"Jay-Z is close to reaching a $150 million deal with Live Nation Inc. that will give the concert promoter a stake in virtually every aspect of the rapper and entrepreneur's career.

The contract covers Jay-Z's music and music-related businesses for the next 10 years, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal reported on their Web sites late Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the agreement.

As part of the arrangement, Jay-Z would get a $25 million upfront payment, plus advance payments of $10 million per album for a minimum of three albums and $25 million toward concert tours. The company would also pay $20 million in exchange for publishing, licensing and other rights.

Live Nation was also expected to commit $50 million to finance Jay-Z's investments and his entertainment venture, to be called Roc Nation, which is expected to include his own record label, music publishing, talent consulting and managing projects.

"I've turned into the Rolling Stones of hip-hop," Jay-Z told the Times.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, plans to leave Def Jam for the deal, but not with out giving his longtime record label one more studio album.

He was president of Def Jam for three years but stepped down in December because he and the label's corporate parent, Universal Music Group, could not agree on a new contract."
