God, Jada's A Lucky Gal

Will Smith recently stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to have a chat with Ellen:

Of course Jada was brought up and about their union Will had this to say:

"What I found is divorce just can't be an option," the actor explained. "It's really that simple. And I think that's the problem with L.A. – there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options."

"We're like listen, we're going to be together one way or the other so we might as well try to be happy," he said.

The couple have been married for 10 years and still going. So I better not hear "Hollywood marriages don't last" no more!

Usher Covers Entertainment Weekly

The sexiness that is Usher is on the cover of May's Entertainment Weekly. In the magazine he addresses a couple of things, including how he felt about his mother's decision to not attend his wedding:

“My mother made a decision not to come to my wedding because she didn’t really agree with my decision,” he explains, declining to specify whether she disagreed with his choice of wife or his decision to fire her. ”I don’t know why,” he offers simply. ”She’s never told me and I’ve never asked her….It hurt me very much not to see her there ’cause I would’ve liked for her to be there, not to mention that I paid so much money for her to be accommodated and her behind didn’t show up. [Laughs] But just as she’s made stands, so have I.”

I hope all is well in the Raymond house hold.

Speaking of the Raymond house hold, Usher's manager, Benny Medina, just released a statement regarding the seperation rumors:

‘Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour,’ Benny Medina [said]. ‘This rumor is completely false.’ Not to mention, Tameka—who’s also the mother of 6-month-old Usher Raymond V—was spotted with her hubby of nearly nine months at an MTV taping on Sunday.”

I hope all is well, seriously, I like those two despite what any one else has to say about her. She's not America's Next Top Model, she's not a MILF and she's not the slimmest thing in a swimsuit but she's his wife and he loves her! She has flaws... just like me and just like you and for a man to look past all that and love you for you despit of that is something to admire. Go 'head Ursher!

Ray-J And His Crap

Ray-J recently had an interview with ESSENCE magazine, in which he spoke about the sex tape (of course), Mama Whit and Lil Kim. Check it out:

The Sex Tapes:
Essence.com: After the tape was released was there a part of you that felt like the damage had already been done so why not capitalize on it?

R.J.: But I did not capitalize on that tape. I turned down about five or six deals—some of them $2 million and $7 million dollar deals—which added up to a lot of money. So yeah, I took the meetings because I wanted to hear what they had to say, but I turned down everything because it’s not always about the money.

On Whitney:
Essence.com: Are you and Whitney a couple?

R.J.: You know what? She’s a great friend of mine.

Essence.com: “Great friend” as in a platonic or romantic friend?

R.J.: Just a great friend. You know, I would say a friend who loves a friend.

Essence.com: How long have you and Whitney been friends?

R.J.: Since I was like young she’s been cool with my sister. If it wasn’t for Whitney my sister probably wouldn’t even be in the game because that’s who she studied every day. Then to have the chance to meet her, follow her and learn from her and develop her own style, that’s priceless. Whitney is my sister’s mentor. So I’d say, Whitney and I met when I was 11 or 12, I don’t really remember.

On Lil Kim:

Essence.com: So is Lil’ Kim your girlfriend?

R.J.: You know what she’s someone who inspires me and played a big part in my “Sexy Can I” single so I pay homage to her as someone who’s on my side.

Essence.com: So you and Lil’ Kim are platonic friends?

R.J.: It’s more than that, we’re building dynasties.

SMH... This n*gg* gets on my last nerve, my first nerve and every other nerve in between. SMH is all I can do right now.

Mariah On Ellen

Mrs. Cannon hit up the Ellen DeGeneres show today and had this to say about her and Nick Cannon's surprise wedding and the publicity stunt rumors:

"We both experienced the hoopla of trying to make something a publicity stunt, which is what everybody thinks, and will think anyway, but we don't really care about that."
On finding the right one and kids:

"My parents divorced when I was three and I didn't have many examples of what was the 'norm,' " she says. But with Cannon, she says, "I found the right person." Her and Nick also plan on having a second ceremony:

"Instead of trying to be like, 'you're invited, but, shhh, don't tell anybody,' we're just going to have another [wedding] next year," Carey told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Tuesday. "[Nick's] plan is to have one every year."

Well that cleared alot up.. but to get dropped like that is insane! I guess that would be how it feel to take one step and get knocked 10 steps back

Alicia Keys Clear's It Up

Alicia Keys talks on air with Ryan Seacrest about the statements she made in her recent Blender interview. Personally, i don't feel she need to apologize for a damn thing or "clear up" what she said, she spoke how she felt and it wasn't politically/socially/verbally incorrect but stil... check out the audio here

So Chilli (Still) Loves Usher?

So Chilli just said in interview how she still loves Usher but is not IN love with him. Interesting, I just hope Tameka calm that ass down when she finds out. Here's how she puts it:

Necole: I mean because everyone was rooting for the two of you. You were like the cutest couple ever


Chilli: Well you know what’s funny. I will say this and I know it’s gonna be everywhere. Lord, Tameka gonna be trying to fight people. But honestly I will say, although Marlon (Wayans) is the one that got away, Usher is the one that I truly did love. Like that was truly my first adult love. I love him very much and I will always love him. I don’t know how you love someone that deeply and just stop loving them. I’m not in love with him anymore but I can’t say that I don’t love him anymore. And of course I do want him to be happy and all but me and him had what I never had in any of my other relationships, and that was chemistry. Even in that picture that you have up. Any picture that you see with the two of us, you see it. It’s just there! I could be standing next to him til this day and people will be like “Wow”. It’s not that you are wondering if we are back together again, it’s just that we look like we just go together

Well when your with someone for that long and loved them that much, it just can't go away like that no matter what they do... and after all it is Usher!

So in this issue of Blender Alicia gets quite honest, which is very Alicia by the way. Check out her perspective on Gangster Rap:

We ask what other gangsta rappers she liked. And that’s when Keys drives a steamroller through the wall.“‘Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other,” she says, putting down the sandwich. “‘Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.”

Come again? A ploy by whom?

She looks at us like it’s the dumbest question in the world. “The government.”Alicia says Tupac and Biggie were essentially assassinated, their beefs stoked “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.”

Damn Jordin!

So the fabulous Jordin Sparks has dished to UK based magazine Young Voices about Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship::

Are Chris Brown and Rihanna dating?

Yeah, they are. It was really cool because I walked on the set and she was sitting there with Chris Brown and I was like I can’t believe she’s here. She came and she told me that she loved No Air, and that it was one of her favourite songs. It was really cool hearing that from one of my peers. She just wanted to support him.

Did it feel weird doing intimate scenes with Chris Brown with his girlfriend watching you?

(Laughs) It was hard at first, but then I said, ‘you know what? I have to work!’ It had to look like I was in love with him, so I had to do it. Hopefully she won’t kill me!! (Laughs)
